St. Francis Community Service empowers multicultural individuals and families to improve their lives.
We are proud to be one of the few providers in the St. Louis area offering linguistically and culturally responsive Spanish-language mental health services. We provide therapy to children, adults, and families as they navigate the emotional challenges of acculturation and integration. Our clinical team is trained in a wide range of evidence-based approaches. Some of the models we use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
When working with children, we provide individual and group sessions in various settings to reduce barriers to mental health access. We collaborate with schools across St. Louis City and County and also offer services at our Southside office. We provide a multicultural and safe environment to help children manage acculturation stress, trauma, academic pressure, and bullying.
We also provide individual and group therapy for Spanish-speaking adults. Therapists provide supportive treatment, focusing on personal growth, trauma, and management of difficult emotions in a safe space for healing. Sessions are held once a week and typically last 60 minutes.
