This June, St. Francis Community Services’ sixth-annual summer event is returning with a whole new look and name! Join us for Rising Together 2021, June 11-12, as we gather to celebrate the resilience of our community and ensure our marginalized neighbors are supported as they work to recover from the pandemic.
This year, our event offers three options to support our mission and support the community—a live virtual broadcast on Friday evening that you can enjoy from home and two in-person, outdoor events on Saturday at Forest Park. Together, we can rise up, join in, and help overcome the challenges faced by our community. We’re looking forward to seeing you, either online or in the park!

Frequently Asked Questions
I feel excited to attend an event in-person. Is that an option and how are you going about keeping people safe?
Absolutely! Both Saturday events are in-person and at the Boathouse at Forest Park, held in an open-air, covered space. We will be following social distancing guidelines, and the venue has reduced capacity due to this. We will also be asking for everyone to wear their masks when not eating or drinking.
I live out of town, or can’t attend an event in-person right now. Is there an option for me?
Yes, the Friday night Virtual Broadcast from 7-8:15pm is a great option. This would allow you to participate with others joining from home on the livestream.
