Each year around International Children’s Day, Southside Center hosts a celebration of El Día del Niño, or the Day of the Child. This day originates from the tradition of festivals and celebrations throughout Latin America, including Mexico where many of our families have strong ties. It is one of our favorite events of the year, when our clients, their families and neighbors visit Southside for crafts, games, and food.
With all of this excitement, we need your help! With so many of our families in attendance, we need volunteers to assist us with serving food and running our craft and game booths. Please consider joining us as a volunteer so that we can host this wonderful day for our clients!
