St. Francis Community Service empowers low-income multicultural individuals and families to improve their lives.
St. Francis provides a tutoring program to support elementary students to improve in reading, math, and social-emotional learning. Volunteers dedicate a few hours every week, working with a student 1 on 1 to support them with their biggest educational need. St. Francis utilizes educational programs on student laptops to help address each student educational goal. Tutors work through the programming, providing their educational insight to accomplish the tasks.
One of our volunteers, Scott has been volunteering with St. Francis for 2 years and meets with Angel weekly. With Scott’s help, Angel has been able to improve in both reading and math.
