A New Headquarters for St. Francis

Have you heard the good news? St. Francis Community Services’ administrative staff has a new home!

On August 1st, 2016 our organization’s headquarters moved with Catholic Charities of St. Louis (CCSTL) to the famous “roundhouse building” at 4445 Lindell. It is an exciting time, as the building provides us with more space for our staff and more room for future growth.

A true architectural gem, 4445 Lindell is one of St. Louis’ most notable mid-century modern buildings. Designed by architect Charles P. Guariglia and opened in 1961, it served as the Chancery headquarters for the Archdiocese of St. Louis and, more recently, housed the Archdiocese’s education office.

We are proud to now be stewards of this wonderful space alongside CCSTL, as we continue to assist families and individuals in need throughout the St. Louis metro area. CCSTL President, Theresa Ruzicka, said of the move, “This more functional and prominent location will better support the mission and operations of Catholic Charities of St. Louis and our eight federated agencies as we serve people in need, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.”

Stay tuned for more updates. Our Southside Center’s programs will soon be moving, as well, into a new, larger space on the campus of St. John the Baptist Parish to accommodate their growing youth programs.
